bought it from a guy that bought it layed down from rads back in 97...he fixed it and has been riding it ever since...he layed down his 05 rr not too long ago n is starting to work on his lightning more so he let it sit up for a month then decided to sell...one of the carbs was messed up...bought it friday n tore it down sunday to clean the carbs, runs like a champ now...dude is the most anal person ive ever met...looked in his garage n everything was so meticulous it made me sick...lol...i have every receipt from when he bought it for every chain, set of tires, and mod...and a log of every single oil change n tune up...to say its almost as old as me its pretty well taken care of...its just something to learn on...it was cheap enough...pics in a lil while...

don't listen to all these guys.  you don't necessarily have to get rid of all your toys when you have a kid.  you just gotta clean em up, and service and parts that may develop surface problems due to long periods of not being used.
